A question.. are you going to use the $100-200 version of the product going forward? Is it worth it for the amount of work you have it produce for you?
I've played around with the tool out of curiosity (since I can barely crop stuff in Figma, I'm that bad 🤣 luckily I have my husband), and I also don't have an eye for good UX so...
And I've been pretty dissappointed to be honest. It wasn't mind blowing (I'm probably not using it well at all), and compared to prompting Claude / Gemini / Codex to build me new pages "based on my brand", it's really, really not great. It looks very Claude-like I feel, no personality at all.
I also tried to use it for infographics - same thing.
I should probably play around more with prompts and try yours too! I'd love to be able to create LinkedIn images :)

Also, I resonate with your experience. It takes a lot of follow ups and edits to create decent creative visuals with Design. And for hero image, an abosulte no since I tried and the images generated were 🫣. I think Gemini and/or Figma do a better job at that!
I think the best use case for Design would be to build a presentation or a pitch deck, something to do with visual representation more than the creativity element in design, color or patterns. Also, the interactive tools are good additions.

I'd use it for presentation decks, repurposing content in a stylistic way or visualizing an idea. I don't think it's worth paying $100, but as I see it, it will be accessible to all Claude subscribers.

This is one of the clearest takes I’ve seen on where this actually fits.
The framing that clicked for me: it’s not a design tool, it’s a translation layer from thinking → visual structure.
That’s why it works so well for one-pagers, comparisons, and flows- you’re feeding it organized thought, not just vibes.
Feels like the real unlock is upstream;
the better your input is structured — argument, sections, hierarchy — the better the output becomes.
So it’s less “non-designers can design now” and more:
people who can think clearly can now show it visually without friction.
That’s a pretty meaningful shift.
